About Us
Bear's Nest Armory is a family owned and operated company. While we do have some items on resale or consignment many of our items are hand made by us.
Mateos of Yarnvid (aka Matthew Shogren)
Has been working in wood as long as he can remember, does almost all of our wood working. He also has a hand in almost every set of arrows that leaves our shop. He does most of the construction work on our home made leather goods, but leaves the intricate tooling to Kat. As the computer guru he also handles this web page, and some of the computer embroidery.
Kateryne Ferneley (aka Megan Shogren)
Has been tooling leather for over 3 years, she does almost all of our tooling. She also makes the chain mail jewelry, you see on our shelves.
